Job Description
A Quality Inspector ensures products meet quality, safety, and reliability standards by inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods against blueprints and technical specifications. They use precision measuring tools to test items, document results, and reject defective products to maintain standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection: Conduct visual and physical inspections (e.g., using calipers, micrometers, gauges) of raw materials and finished goods.
Compliance: Ensure products adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO).
Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain logs, and prepare reports on defects, rework, and waste.
Production
Monitoring: Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments to assembly to ensure consistency.
Collaboration: Work with production teams to address quality issues and identify root causes for non-conformance.
