Job Description

Role OverviewThe Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by managing customer relationships, coordinating sales activities, ensuring smooth logistics, and assisting in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities·        Customer Relationship Management

·        Act as a primary point of contact for customers for order-related queries

·        Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

·        Ensure timely communication and follow-ups

·        Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolution

·        Sales Coordination & Support

·        Coordinate with the sales team for order processing and execution

·        Track sales orders from initiation to delivery

·        Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation

·        Maintain accurate sales records and MIS reports

·        Business Development Support

·        Coordinate with potential customers for new business opportunities

·        Support tender participation and proposal submissions

·        Follow up on leads and track conversion progress

·        Logistics & Order Management

·        Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for timely delivery

·        Track shipments and update customers on delivery status

·        Resolve delivery-related issues proactively

 

·        MIS & Reporting

·        Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Excel

·        Analyze sales data and provide insights

·        Tender & GeM Portal Handling

·        Manage GeM portal activities and tender submissions

·        Track tender opportunities and deadlines

Qualifications & SkillsGraduate in any discipline

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel

Strong communication and coordination skills

Knowledge of GeM portal and tenders is advantageous

Experience3-5 years of experience in sales coordination or similar role preferred

Key CompetenciesCustomer focus, attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and proactiveness
