Job Description
Job Summary -The Sales Officer will serve as the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchase process. Responsibilities include understanding product features, handling customer enquiries, organizing test drives, promoting offers, and achieving sales targets. The role requires excellent communication, customer handling, and negotiation skills to ensure a smooth and satisfying buying experience.
• Be the first point of contact between customers and the dealership. • Understand the features, capabilities, and specifications of all vehicles and provide detailed information to potential customers, including comparisons with competitor models. • Convert showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and recommending the most appropriate vehicle. • Take customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features. • Make cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow up with leads and existing customers. • Source and follow up on customer referrals. • Answer all customer and lead inquiries accurately. • Perform cost-benefit analysis for prospective customers and advise on suitable purchase options. • Promote specific products as directed by management. • Inform customers and leads about current promotions and discounts. • Develop individual and team sales strategies for better effectiveness. • Maintain detailed records of appointments, sales, complaints, and status updates for management review. • Negotiate contracts and sales packages. • Understand the finance processes and sales accessories processes and coordinate effectively with both teams. • Make sure vehicle deliveries are carried out on time, ensuring a smooth and punctual experience for the customer. • Emphasize the importance of customer satisfaction by consistently providing the best service experience. • Collaborate with all departments to promote harmony and teamwork. • Organize marketing events to generate customer enquiries. • Strive to meet monthly or annual sales targets.
