Job Description
- Documentation & Drafting: Drafting, reviewing, and vetting Sale Agreements, Sale Deeds, Development Agreements (JDA), General Power of Attorney (GPA), and Lease agreements.
- Due Diligence: Conducting thorough title searches, verifying property documents, and identifying legal risks to ensure clean title transfers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all projects comply with RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), local municipal laws, and land laws in Karnataka.
- Legal Advisory: Advising clients on property laws, regulations, and transaction risks.
- Liaisoning: Interacting with government departments for approvals, registrations, and mutations.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
- Experience: Typically 2-6 years of experience in real estate law, either in-house or with a firm.
- Languages: Strong command of English and mandatory proficiency in Kannada (written and spoken) is often required for local compliance.
- Key Skills: Legal research, documentation, negotiation, and understanding of property laws.
