About Tictax

Tictax is an exclusive, invite-only tax consultancy built for salaried professionals. Powered by a specialist team of Chartered Accountants, we help members save more than 40% of their TDS — over and above the standard deductions they already claim. From document collection to filing and refund, we handle everything so our members can sit back and relax.

Our members come from some of the best companies in the country — Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Axis Bank, Accenture, TCS, Infosys and many more. We're not a generic tax filing portal; we're a curated club that delivers measurable results.

 

The Role

We are looking for a driven and personable Sales & Marketing Executive to grow our member base and ensure every existing member files their returns on time. You will be the first human touchpoint for many of our members — making trust, warmth, and clarity non-negotiable traits for this role.

You will work across calls, WhatsApp, and email, and will collaborate closely with our documentation team and CAs to deliver a seamless member experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Customer Retention — Get Current Members to File

•      Proactively reach out to existing members each filing season via calls, WhatsApp, and email to prompt timely action.

•      Follow up persistently yet warmly to ensure members complete their filing within deadlines.

•      Address member queries about the filing process and escalate to the documentation team or CA when needed.

•      Track member status and maintain accurate records of engagement and filing progress.

 

Referral Generation — Grow Through the Community

•      Build genuine relationships with existing members and encourage them to refer colleagues, friends, and family.

•      Identify satisfied members who can act as brand advocates and facilitate their onboarding of referrals.

•      Track referral pipelines and ensure referred prospects receive a smooth and prompt first impression.

 

New Lead Conversion — Expand the Club

•      Engage with inbound leads and prospects who have received an invite and convert them into active members.

•      Clearly communicate the Tictax value proposition — the refund potential, the exclusive community, the effortless process.

•      Handle objections confidently and guide prospects through the onboarding journey.

•      Maintain CRM hygiene and provide regular pipeline updates.

 

What We're Looking For

•      1–4 years of experience in sales, customer success, or a client-facing role (inside sales preferred).

•      Confident and clear communicator — equally comfortable on a phone call, a WhatsApp chat, or a formal email.

•      Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline without being micromanaged.

•      High empathy and patience — many members will have questions and will need hand-holding.

•      Basic understanding of personal income tax filing (ITR) is a plus; a strong willingness to learn is a must.

•      Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or a regional language is an added advantage.

 

A Special Note for CA Students

CA students and CA dropouts are warmly welcomed. Your knowledge of income tax law gives you a genuine edge — you will be able to handle top-of-the-funnel queries with confidence and earn greater trust from members quickly. This role can be a great way to apply your technical knowledge in a commercial context.
