Job Description
As a Store Manager at Furnishka, you'll play a pivotal role in growing and nurturing a dynamic business within your designated department. Your mission is to empower and develop your team to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and find everything they need to furnish their homes with style and comfort. Your primary focus will be on creating an amazing shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
During a comprehensive 3-month training period covering business operations and management fundamentals, you'll embark on a journey filled with new adventures and challenges, supported by your team. In summary, your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of Sales Associates
- Mentor and guide the professional development of each team member
- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
- Set performance goals and provide continuous feedback
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage scheduling efficiently.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times
- Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers as needed.
Merchandising and Inventory Management:
- Maintain top-level and organized displays in your department
- Manage inventory levels, including restocking and conducting inventory counts
- Implement campaign materials and visual merchandising policies effectively.
Commercial Strategies:
- Collaborate with our Commercial Team to develop and execute a commercial plan
- Stay updated on product knowledge within your department
- Define the product range in collaboration with store leadership.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Use data to make informed decisions and adjust department strategies as needed.
Operational Efficiency as a Duty Manager:
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and policies during assigned duty hours
- Lead the overall operational function of the store during assigned duty hours
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
