Job Description
Structural Draftsman
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Structural Draftsman with experience in residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings, detailing RCC structures, and coordinating with structural engineers and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed structural drawings and RCC detailing.
- Develop beam, column, footing, slab, and staircase drawings.
- Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and structural layouts.
- Modify drawings based on engineer/client requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and site execution teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with IS codes and project standards.
- Maintain drawing records and revisions properly.
- Support project teams with technical drafting requirements.
- Required Skills:Strong knowledge of RCC detailing and structural drafting.
- Good understanding of residential building structures.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Software Skills:AutoCAD
- Revit Structure
- STAAD Pro (basic knowledge preferred)
- MS Office
- Experience:1 to 3 Years in residential construction projects.
- Qualification:Diploma / Civil Engineering related qualification.
