Team Leader

A Credit Card Team Leader drives sales, collections, or customer service metrics by recruiting, training, and mentoring a team of representatives. They ensure daily targets are met, monitor performance, and enforce compliance with banking regulations like KYC norms and RBI standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Hire, train, motivate, and manage a team of Business Development or Service Executives to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor daily productivity, conduct performance reviews, and implement strategies to close gaps and improve conversion rates.
• Training & Development: Conduct daily product refreshers, sales pitch training, and policy updates so the team remains competitive and knowledgeable.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure all credit card sourcing and customer interactions strictly adhere to bank policies, RBI guidelines, and data security standards.
• Escalation Management: Intervene in complex customer grievances, cross-functional issues, or processing bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery and query resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 2–5+ years in the banking or financial services sector, with prior experience in a supervisory or team-handling role.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any stream from an accredited university.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving, and CRM/sales management capabilities.
