Job Description
• Make outbound calls to customers with overdue payments and inform them about their outstanding dues and payment status.
• Negotiate realistic repayment plans, settlement options, or partial payments within company policy and legal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of each call, payment commitments, and follow‑up dates in the CRM / collection software.
• Follow up regularly with customers on pending dues and track payment status to ensure timely recovery.
• Handle customer queries, disputes, and complaints regarding billing, interest, or repayment terms in a professional manner.
• Escalate difficult or high‑value cases to the senior collections team or supervisor as per SOP.
• Adhere to company scripts, calling guidelines, and fair‑debt‑collection practices to avoid legal or compliance issues.
• Achieve daily / weekly targets for number of calls made, payments collected, and other KPIs as defined by management.
