Two Wheeler Mechanic

Job Summary

Speed Motors is looking for an experienced and reliable Two-Wheeler Mechanic to handle general servicing, mechanical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and repairs for TVS motorcycles and scooters (e.g., TVS Apache, Jupiter, Ntorq, Raider, XL100, and iQube EV).

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Servicing: Perform general servicing, oil changes, brake adjustments, chain lubrication, engine tuning, and filter replacements.
• Diagnostics & Repair: Identify and fix engine, clutch, gearbox, suspension, fuel supply (FI systems), and brake problems.
• Electrical System Handling: Inspect and troubleshoot starter systems, battery issues, wiring harnesses, digital consoles, and lights.
• Quality & Test Runs: Conduct pre-repair and post-service road tests to ensure the vehicle meets safety and performance standards.
• Job Card Adherence: Work based on customer complaints documented in the job card and complete tasks within designated delivery timelines.
• Tools & Safety: Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness (5S standards).

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a two-wheeler mechanic (prior TVS or authorized multi-brand workshop experience is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of engine overhauling, modern FI (Fuel Injection) systems, braking systems, and basic electrical circuits.
• Education: 10th pass / ITI or Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Driving License: Valid two-wheeler driving license is required for test rides.
• Soft Skills: Punctual, honest, hard-working, and able to work well in a workshop team environment.
