Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled VFD Repair & Service Specialist to handle troubleshooting, repair, testing, servicing, and commissioning of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and industrial automation systems. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of industrial drives and good problem-solving abilities for onsite and in-house service activities.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair VFDs, soft starters, and industrial automation equipment.
- Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting of ABB and other make drives.
- Carry out PCB-level inspection and basic electronic component testing.
- Conduct testing and trial runs after repair/service completion.
- Attend onsite service calls and customer breakdown support.
- Support commissioning and parameter setting of VFDs.
- Prepare service reports, testing reports, and repair status updates.
- Coordinate with customers regarding service status and technical issues.
- Maintain records of repaired drives, spare parts, and service activities.
- Support preventive maintenance and AMC activities.
