Job Description
Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines safely and efficiently.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Set workpieces using fixtures, vices, and clamps.
Read engineering drawings and process sheets.
Perform tool offset corrections and basic machine setup.
Inspect machined components using measuring instruments.
Ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Replace worn cutting tools and report tool breakage.
Record production output and downtime.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets.
Maintain machine cleanliness and implement 5S practices.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
