Job Description

Job Title: Academic Counselor / EdTech Sales Executive


Company: EdTech Organization

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Based on relevant experience in edutech sales )




Job Overview


We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counselors / Sales Executives with prior experience in the EdTech industry. The role involves guiding students and parents through course selection, building strong relationships, and driving admissions through effective counseling and sales strategies.




Eligibility Criteria


Male & Female candidates can apply

Mandatory: Previous experience in EdTech counseling and sales / admission counseling

Strong communication and convincing skills

PREFERRED MANDATORY LANGUAGES REQUIREMENT - ENGLISH,MARATHI/ ENGLISH, TAMIL.



Language Requirements


Fluent in English with

Additional regional language proficiency is a plus:

Telugu

Kannada

Marathi

TAMIL



Work Requirements


Personal Laptop

Headset for calling

Stable WiFi connection




Key Responsibilities


Connect with leads provided via social media and client databases

Maintain accurate and timely updates in the client CRM system

Understand and explain courses, pricing, and packages across different universities

Conduct GMeet sessions for interested students and parents

Guide and support students throughout the journey:

Counseling

Entrance exams / VSATs

Final admission process

Build and manage a complete sales funnel from lead generation to closure

Ensure regular follow-ups and nurturing of leads




Performance & KPI Expectations


Maintain proper tracking of:

CRM updates

WhatsApp communication

Email communication

Use personal SIM for better connectivity with leads

Achieve admission targets through effective conversion strategies

Work on Sundays (as required) with a rotational week-off

Take ownership of end-to-end sales, not limited to calling

Application Process


Interested candidates may share their updated resume and a short audio recording on WhatsApp for initial screening. Profiles will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will proceed to the Google Meet interview rounds based on client requirements.




Important Guidelines


Only immediate joiners with a laptop, stable Wi-Fi, and headset are requested to apply.

Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and consistency in their work.

Frequent unplanned leaves or half-days should be avoided, as they directly impact project flow and client operations.




Selection & Joining Process


A total of 3 rounds of Google Meet interviews will be conducted

Final selection is subject to client approval

Joining will be scheduled in the last week of April after successful completion of all interview rounds




Performance & Continuity


Strict performance tracking will be done based on:

VSATs

Admissions / Conversions

Continuation in the project will depend on achieving the required performance standards




Probation Policy


A 7-day probation period will be applicable after joining

No salary will be provided if leave is taken during the probation period
