Account Assistant

1. Distributor & Payment Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors regarding ledgers, invoicing, and payment queries.
• Conduct regular payment follow-ups to ensure timely collections and minimize Outstanding Days (DSO).
• Reconcile distributor accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies or credit note issues.

2. Inventory & Purchase Analysis

• Perform regular item analysis based on current sales data to forecast stock requirements.
• Generate and place accurate Purchase Orders (POs) aligned with sales trends and demand.
• Identify and flag slow-moving or stagnant inventory to management to prevent dead stock.

3. Reporting & Data Analysis

• Extract, compile, and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports related to stocks, payments, and distributor aging.
• Provide actionable insights from data to help optimize cash flow and inventory turnover.
• Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an accounts executive or commercial role (experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution sectors is a huge plus).

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books).
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data sorting are mandatory for report analysis).
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills for payment follow-ups, sharp analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.
