Part-Time Accountant
(Experienced)
Location: Rajajinagar, Bangalore | Timings: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Mon - Sat) | Type: Part-Time
ROLE OVERVIEW
Snapstick Solutions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to manage and streamline our daily financial operations at our Rajajinagar office. This position requires an autonomous professional capable of hitting the ground running to handle core accounting responsibilities, ledger maintenance, compliance, and rigorous inventory tracking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Tracking Company Finances: Maintain highly accurate, up-to-date records of daily financial transactions, expenses, and general ledger entries.
· Billing & Invoicing: Generate and dispatch professional invoices, oversee sales/purchase bills, and ensure alignment with GST and tax guidelines.
· Payment Follow-Up: Proactively monitor outstanding receivables and systematically coordinate with clients/vendors to accelerate payment cycles.
· Inventory Accounting: Log, track, and reconcile physical inventory shifts with accounting data to maintain strict stock valuation and discrepancies control.
· Data Entry & Record Keeping: Oversee precise, fast-paced entry of financial receipts, bank statements, and company vouchers into the core accounting software.
· Financial Reconciliation: Manage periodic bank statement reconciliations and support book-closing milestones under leadership guidance.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
· Experience Level: Minimum of 2 years of proven core accounting experience is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable working independently during their shift hours.
· Minimum Education: Graduate degree required. Preferred specializations include B.Com (Finance), B.Com (Hons.) Commerce, Banking & Finance, or Taxation.
· Language Skills: Basic proficiency in English paired with professional fluency in either Kannada or Hindi (essential for managing local vendor and client payment updates).
· Age Bracket: 18 to 40 years as per system requirements.
· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern accounting software (such as Tally or similar) and advanced spreadsheet usage (MS Excel / Google Sheets) is expected.
Note for Applicants: This is an in-office part-time position requiring
strict adherence to the 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM shift. Candidates must be located
within a manageable daily commute to Rajajinagar, Bangalore.
