Job Description: CADRE Case Officer

The Case Officer is the face of CADRE to the disputing parties, clients and arbitrators. The case officer will preferably be a law graduate with 0-2 years of work experience. Not necessarily Law graduates even Non-Law Background with excellent administrative and communication skills will also be considered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collection, filing and indexing of case information
  • Track the case on the online platform, email, IM, voice and other communication channels 
  • Communicate with the Claimant, Respondent and Arbitrator on a continuous basis to keep them engaged aware of the ongoing proceedings
  • Ensuring the CADRE Rules are followed start to finish
  • Assist parties and arbitrators with CADRE processes
  • Managing the selection process of Arbitrator
  • Sending out notifications
  • Follow-up on filing and payment by parties
  • Maintain records of process followed along with archiving case files
  • Follow-up on agreed deadlines
  • Appointment of experts as required 
  • Follow-up on rulings both interim and final
  • Maintain and publish reports and dashboards on cases and arbitrators

Essential Skills:

  • Strong administrative skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Works well under pressure and ability to multitask and manage workload
  • Self-motivated and with a high sense of initiative.
  • Skilled communicator, with good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • IT literate, and advanced knowledge of MS office, Google Workspace.
  • Numerate and with knowledge of data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with people from all professions and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
  • Confident and outgoing personality, with ability to develop great working relationships. 
  • Experience of ADR processes and case management in India.
