Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Cashier for our saree retail store. The candidate will handle billing operations, cash transactions, customer payments, and support smooth store operations while ensuring excellent customer service.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle customer billing and cash counter operations efficiently.
• Process payments through cash, card, UPI, and other payment modes.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions.
• Ensure proper cash handling and balance the cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Generate invoices and bills using billing software/POS system.
• Assist customers with billing-related queries and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with store staff for smooth customer flow and operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
• Support store management in stock tagging, packing, and customer assistance when required.
• Report any billing discrepancies or technical issues to the Store Manager immediately.
• Required SkillsBasic knowledge of billing software/POS systems.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Basic mathematical and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• QualificationIntermediate / Any Degree.
• Prior experience in retail cashier operations is preferred.
• Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
• Experience 1–3 years in retail, garments, textile, or saree showroom operations.
