Civil Site Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer (PMC – Finishing Works) — 5+ years

We are hiring a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, specialising in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for finishing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise finishing works on-site (plaster, flooring, tiling, painting, carpentry, fixtures, etc.).

- Take ownership to speed up progress while maintaining quality and safety.

- Supervise and coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and labour to ensure timely delivery.

- Coordinate consistently with clients, vendors and our internal team; conduct regular progress reporting and review meetings.

- Use digital tools and modern techniques for documentation, monitoring, and site control.

- Mentor and drive the site team; assign and follow up tasks with discipline and accountability.

- Handle site-level problem solving; make quick, practical decisions to keep work on schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in civil construction with strong exposure to finishing works and PMC-style responsibilities.

- Proven ability to manage vendors, labour, and subcontractors.

- Strong communication and coordination skills; client-facing experience preferred.

- Computer literate: MS Office, spreadsheets, reporting tools; familiarity with modern site monitoring apps (e.g., Project management/field reporting apps, basic BIM/plan markups) is a plus.

- Self-motivated, disciplined, street-smart, and able to take charge on site.

- Team player with leadership qualities.
