Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Olangana is looking for a Client and Vendor Finance Manager with relevant experience of 0 – 3 years in the interior design industry.

As a Client and Vendor Finance Manager in the field of interior design, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of projects, managing client accounts, and fostering strong relationships with vendors. Your responsibilities will span from budgeting and financial analysis to contract negotiation and payment processing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop project budgets in collaboration with project managers and design team.

- Monitor project expenses and financial performance against budgetary goals.

- Provide financial forecasts and recommendations to optimize project profitability.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for client financial inquiries and concerns.

- Prepare invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing for services rendered.

- Collaborate with clients to address any financial discrepancies or billing issues.

- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.

- Coordinate vendor payments and reconcile invoices with purchase orders.

- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management review.

- Implement strategies to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.

- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.

- Monitor contract performance and address any deviations or discrepancies.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with client accounts and vendor relationships.

- Implement controls and processes to minimize financial exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Provide guidance and support to team members on financial matters related to client and vendor management.


Job Specifications:

Skills and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum Experience of 0 – 3 years in the interior design industry

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Holds expertise in MS Office

Required expertise in vendor management, time management, coordinating with internal and external agencies

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
