Job Description

Role Objective

The Client Relations Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for initial outreach, lead qualification, and relationship maintenance. The goal is to streamline the sales funnel by ensuring the BD team receives high-quality appointments and that existing clients experience seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities:


1.Lead Generation & Cold Outreach

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential B2B clients (Industries, Commercial entities, and Utilities) to introduce MPL’s power trading and renewable energy services.
  • Identify key decision-makers (CXOs, Plant Heads, Purchase Managers) and initiate first-level contact.

2. Appointment Scheduling

  • Coordinate and book meetings/demos for the BD team with qualified prospects.
  • Manage the BD team’s calendar to ensure no overlaps and efficient travel routing.

3. Lead Qualification & CRM Management

  • Screen incoming inquiries to ensure they meet MPL’s client profile.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database in the CRM, logging every interaction and updating lead statuses accurately.

4. Relationship & Retention Calling

  • Perform follow-up calls to existing clients for service feedback or to inform them of new regulatory changes/offerings.
  • Remind clients of contract renewals or upcoming documentation requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in Business, Communications, or a related field. A basic understanding of the Energy/Power sector is a significant plus.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, tele-calling, or customer relationship management (preferably in a B2B environment).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Ability to pivot tone based on the seniority of the stakeholder.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools
