Job Description
- Manage day-to-day store operations for one or multiple construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of construction materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Issue materials to site engineers and subcontractors as per approved material requisition.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Track material movement between multiple project sites.
- Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward material movement.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store premises.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and damaged materials and report the same.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Purchase, and Accounts departments.
- Maintain records of tools, equipment, and consumables issued to project teams.
- Minimize material wastage and prevent inventory loss through proper control measures.
