Job Summary:


The Demi Chef de Partie (Continental) is responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality continental dishes. The role requires maintaining kitchen standards, ensuring food safety, and supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen during service.

Key Responsibilities:

*Prepare and cook continental dishes according to recipes and standards.

*Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

*Ensure all mise-en-place is completed before service.

*Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.

*Monitor portion control and minimize wastage.

*Assist in receiving and proper storage of kitchen supplies.

*Work collaboratively with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

*Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute ideas for menu improvements.

*Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained after use.

Requirements:

*Proven experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in a continental kitchen.

*Knowledge of continental cooking techniques and presentation styles.

*Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

*Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

*Team player with good communication skills.

*Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
