Customer Service Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Field Service Manager to lead our service operations in Bangalore. This role acts as the vital link between our engineering team, our principal partner Atlas Copco, and our valued customers. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, technical accuracy, and the growth of our aftermarket sales.

Core Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Operations

* Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of 8+ Field Service Engineers.

* Job Scheduling: Strategically assign daily service calls and projects to ensure maximum efficiency and quick response times.

* Reporting & Quality: Review and help engineers draft professional service reports; ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

2. Technical Mentorship

* On-field Support: Provide real-time technical troubleshooting and guidance to engineers facing complex issues at client sites.

* Training: Conduct regular training sessions to upgrade the technical skills of the team, focusing on air compressor technology and safety protocols.

3. Stakeholder & Principal Relations

* Atlas Copco Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the Atlas Copco team regarding technical updates, warranty claims, and service standards.

* Customer Engagement: Meet with customers to discuss service satisfaction, address grievances, and provide technical consultations.

4. Business Development (Aftermarket)

* Spare Parts Sales: Proactively interact with customers to identify requirements for spare parts and service kits.

* Sales Growth: Discuss and promote Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and genuine spare parts to ensure machine longevity and business revenue.

Key Qualifications

* Experience: Proven experience in service management, preferably within the air compressor or industrial machinery sector.

* Leadership: Strong ability to mentor junior engineers and manage high-pressure field situations.

* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with corporate teams (Atlas Copco) and diverse industrial clients.

* Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
