Job Description
The Delivery Boy at The Organic World is responsible for timely and safe delivery of organic groceries and wellness products to customers. The role ensures accurate order fulfillment, courteous customer interaction, and maintenance of product quality during transit, in line with company standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery OperationsDeliver customer orders accurately and on time as per assigned routes.
- Ensure safe handling of organic and perishable products during delivery.
- Verify delivery details (address, contact number, order items) before dispatch.
- Collect cash, UPI, or card payments where applicable and hand over receipts.
- Customer InteractionInteract politely and professionally with customers during delivery.
- Address basic customer queries and coordinate with the store for delivery issues.
- Represent the brand positively at all customer touchpoints.
- Order & DocumentationCross-check invoices, delivery notes, and returned items if any.
- Collect customer signatures or confirmations after successful delivery.
- Report failed or delayed deliveries promptly to the store team.
