Job Description

Southwood Talkies is looking for a talented and passionate Editor-cum-Videographer / Cameraman to join our media team. The candidate will be responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content for social media platforms, celebrity interviews, movie promotions, events, and entertainment-related content.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Shoot interviews, events, celebrity interactions, and promotional videos.
• Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Create engaging reels, shorts, and promotional content.
• Handle camera equipment, lighting, and audio setup during shoots.
• Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion effects.
• Coordinate with the content team for planning and execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of edited videos.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of After Effects.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience in camera handling and video shooting.
• Understanding of social media content formats and trends.
• Knowledge of audio synchronization, color correction, and thumbnail creation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in media, entertainment, YouTube, or digital content creation.
• Experience in celebrity interviews, film promotions, or event coverage is an added advantage.
• Freshers with strong editing skills and portfolio may also apply.

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for shoots within Bengaluru and nearby locations.
• Positive attitude and passion for content creation.
