Field Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Field Sales Executive to generate new business opportunities, meet customers directly, and increase sales in Chennai market. The candidate will be responsible for client visits, enquiry generation, follow-ups, and order conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers, industries, offices, builders, consultants, and project sites for business development.
• Generate new sales enquiries through field visits and direct meetings.
• Follow up with existing customers and convert enquiries into orders.
• Explain company products and services to clients professionally.
• Meet monthly sales targets and reporting requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain regular communication.
• Coordinate with internal sales and operations team for quotations, invoices, dispatch, and service support.
• Track competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
• Maintain daily visit reports, lead updates, and customer records.
• Attend exhibitions, meetings, and client discussions when required.

Skills Required

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong confidence in client handling and direct sales.
• Ability to work independently in field sales activities.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Email, WhatsApp reporting).
• Strong follow-up and closing skills.

Qualification

• Any Degree / Diploma.
• 1–3 years of field sales experience preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply.
• Experience in industrial products, automation, electrical, HRMS, software, or B2B sales is an added advantage.
