Senior Finance Manager – Job Description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly reliable Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance function end-to-end. This role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, compliance, cash flow, internal controls, and strategic decision support for leadership. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, can build scalable systems, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Financial Planning & Strategy
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Prepare detailed MIS reports with clear insights and recommendations.
• Support leadership with data-driven financial decisions.
• 2. Accounting, Audits & Compliance
• Oversee accounting operations (AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, monthly closing).
• Ensure full statutory compliance including GST, TDS, ROC filings, PF/ESI, and audits.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government bodies.
• 3. Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital
• Manage cash flows, credit cycles, and capital allocation.
• Improve receivables collection and strengthen vendor/payment discipline.
• Monitor banking relationships, loan documentation, and credit facilities.
• 4. Internal Controls & Systems
• Establish strong financial controls to minimize leakages and errors.
• Design and upgrade finance processes, SOPs, and systems.
• Drive automation of reporting and financial operations where possible.
• 5. Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
• Support fundraising documentation, investor reporting, and due diligence.
• Present financial performance and analysis to leadership.
• Mentor junior finance staff and build a strong finance team as the company scales.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• CA, MBA Finance, or semi-qualified CA with 5–10 years of experience.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and compliance.
• Expertise in Excel/Sheets, MIS reporting, and accounting tools (Tally/Zoho/ERP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and multi-function coordination.

Work Conditions

Salary Range: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month

• Working Days: Monday–Saturday (6 days)
• Location: On-site
