Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to convert design briefs into detailed, manufacturable furniture solutions.

Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts relevant to furniture, including materials, structural strength, joinery, ergonomics, and fabrication methods.

Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.

Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering considerations for integrating lighting, power components, or hardware where required in furniture systems.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.

Experience working with wood, metal, and composite materials, and familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, panel processing, and finishing.

Ability to read and create technical drawings, BOMs, and production documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and on-site production units.

Prior experience in furniture, interiors, or hospitality projects is preferred; portfolio demonstrating relevant work is an advantage.

Develop innovative furniture designs from concept to final production 

Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications 

Work closely with the production and sampling teams to ensure design feasibility 

Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware 

Modify designs based on client feedback and production constraints 

Maintain design documentation and version control 

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques 

Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements 

Contribute to B2C brand development, including product positioning, brochures, 

storytelling, and visual identity 

Assist in creating marketing-ready content such as product renders, photoshoot 

inputs, and catalogue visuals 

Manage and support social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) with relevant 

design-led content
