Job Description
The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, sales performance, and customer experience of The Organic World store. The role ensures efficient store functioning, staff management, inventory optimization, and maintaining high-quality standards aligned with organic retail practices.
- Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations ManagementOversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain store layout, merchandising standards, and cleanliness as per brand guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- 2. Sales & Revenue GrowthDrive store sales to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve revenue.
- Ensure product availability and effective promotional execution.
- 3. Team ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
- Motivate and develop the team to deliver high productivity and customer satisfaction.
- 4. Inventory & Stock ControlMonitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Manage ordering, replenishment, and vendor coordination.
- Minimize wastage and shrinkage through effective stock management.
- 5. Customer ExperienceEnsure excellent customer service standards and handle escalations.
- Foster a welcoming and knowledgeable shopping environment for customers.
- Promote awareness of organic products and their benefits.
- 6. Vendor & Supplier ManagementCoordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain relationships with local organic producers and vendors.
- 7. Reporting & CompliancePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (sales, inventory, staffing).
- Monitor store KPIs and ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and organic certification norms (if applicable).
- Key RequirementsExperience: Minimum 5 years in retail store management (preferably grocery/FMCG/organic retail).
- Education: 12th pass
- Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
