Job Description
The Home Loan Sales Relationship Manager is responsible for driving housing finance business by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with channel partners like builders, brokers, and architects. The role focuses on identifying sales opportunities, guiding customers through the loan process, and achieving monthly revenue targets. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Acquire new customers for home loans and loans against property (LAP).
- Pitch housing finance products to salaried and self-employed individuals.
- Source business through cold calling, references, and digital leads.
- Channel Management
- Onboard and manage relationships with local builders and real estate agents.
- Secure exclusive subvention schemes or tie-ups for upcoming housing projects.
- Conduct promotional activities and desks at builder sites to capture walk-in clients.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Guide applicants through the entire loan lifecycle from inquiry to disbursement.
- Explain product features, interest rates, processing fees, and documentation rules.
- Resolve customer queries promptly to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Credit Appraisal & Documentation
- Collect mandatory KYC, financial charts, property papers, and bank statements.
- Conduct preliminary checks on customer eligibility and repayment capacity.
- Coordinate with credit, legal, and technical teams for file login and approval. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in retail banking, NBFCs, or housing finance sales.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgages, home loan variants, and local property markets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal negotiation skills to pitch to high-net-worth clients and corporate builders.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and a personal vehicle for field visits. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

- Total value of loan disbursements (AUM growth)
