Junior PLC Programmer

We are seeking a motivated Junior PLC Programmer to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for industrial automation systems.

This role is perfect for someone with foundational knowledge of PLCs, a passion for automation, and a willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in programming, testing, and debugging PLC systems for manufacturing and automation projects.
• Support senior engineers in developing control logic and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment.
• Document PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and production) to ensure smooth integration of automation solutions.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and support activities at client sites.
• Stay updated with industry standards, safety regulations, and emerging automation technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
• Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for project installations and support.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SCADA systems and HMI design.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and industrial control hardware.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring practices.
• Internship or project experience in automation or robotics.
