Kitchen Assistant

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly efficient and detail-oriented Kitchen Operations Associate to join our fast-growing cloud kitchen team focused on ultra-fast (10-minute) food delivery. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong food preparation background who thrive in high-speed kitchen environments.

Key Responsibilities· Prepare and assemble food items quickly while maintaining quality and consistency 

· Handle multiple orders simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment

· Ensure all dishes meet standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines 

· Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards 

· Monitor ingredient levels and assist in inventory management 

· Coordinate with packaging and dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery within 10 minutes 

· Follow SOPs for pre-preparation to reduce cooking time

· Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Required Skills & Qualifications· Prior experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR), cloud kitchens, or fast-paced kitchens 

· Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices 

· Ability to work under high pressure and strict timelines 

· Strong multi-tasking and time management skills 

· Team player with good communication skills

· Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and peak hours 

Preferred Background· Experience in brands like QSR chains or delivery-first kitchens 

· Familiarity with pre-prepped menus, semi-cooked items, and fast assembly formats 

· Culinary training or certification (optional but preferred)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)· Order preparation time (target: under 5–7 minutes)

· Order accuracy and quality consistency

· Kitchen cleanliness and compliance scores

· Wastage control and inventory efficiency
