Job Description

Core ResponsibilitiesYour main goal is to keep the kitchen running smoothly by handling the essential "mise en place."

  • Fruit & Vegetable Prep: Wash, peel, slice, dice, and chop a wide variety of produce according to specific size and shape requirements.
  • Station Setup: Organize prep stations with necessary tools and ingredients before service begins.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the freshness of produce and discard any items that do not meet our quality standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Assist with basic cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, clearing workstations, and taking out the trash.
  • Storage Management: Properly label and store prepped items in airtight containers using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
  • ### Requirements & SkillsManual Dexterity: Comfortable using various kitchen knives and peeling tools safely and efficiently.
  • Speed & Accuracy: Ability to work quickly during busy shifts without sacrificing the consistency of the cuts.
