Job Description
- Manage and maintain all company vehicles in good condition
- Schedule regular servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Assign drivers and monitor their attendance and performance
- Plan and coordinate daily vehicle dispatch and routes
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup operations
- Track fuel consumption and control fuel costs
- Maintain vehicle documents (RC, insurance, permits, PUC)
- Monitor vehicles using GPS tracking systems
- Handle vehicle breakdowns and emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with transport rules and safety regulations
- Maintain records like trip sheets, logbooks, and reports
- Coordinate with vendors, workshops, and internal teams
- Investigate accidents and implement safety measures
- Optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational costs
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
