Job Description

Support Staff will help teachers and take care of children, cleanliness, safety, and daily school work.

  1. Duties:Help teachers in classroom activities.
  2. Take care of children during class, lunch, and playtime.
  3. Help children in washroom and diaper changing.
  4. Keep classrooms, toys, and school areas clean.
  5. Serve food and water to children.
  6. Help children during arrival and dispersal time.
  7. Follow safety and hygiene rules at all times.
  8. Inform teacher/coordinator if any child is unwell or hurt.
  9. Help during school events and activities.
  10. Follow instructions given by teachers and management.
  • Requirements:Must be polite, caring, and patient with children.
  • Must maintain cleanliness and discipline.
  • Must come on time regularly.
  • Must work as a team with teachers and staff.

Support staff in preschool settings are generally expected to assist teachers, maintain cleanliness and safety, supervise children, and support daily classroom routines
