Role Overview

As a Retail Optometrist at ELUNO, you will be the bridge between precision visual health and personal styling. You will operate state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to provide highly accurate vision assessments while delivering an elite customer experience that aligns with our brand's premium identity.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence: Perform precise objective and subjective refractions, contact lens fittings, and comprehensive eye examinations using modern diagnostic tools.

Customer Consultation: Guide customers through their lens options (including high-index lenses, progressive lenses, anti-reflective, and Blu-lens tech) based on their specific lifestyle and occupational visual requirements.

Styling Collaboration: Work alongside retail stylists to recommend frame materials (premium acetate, titanium, TR90) and silhouettes that perfectly match the customer's facial structure and identity.

SOP & Lab Coordination: Ensure absolute zero-error handling of prescription entries and coordinate seamlessly with the lab team for precise lens glazing and fitting.

Maintenance & Compliance: Maintain standard operating procedures for the optometry clinic room, including calibration of equipment and inventory upkeep of trials/contact lenses.

Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry (B.Optom) or Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institute.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical or retail optometry experience (experience with premium optical retail chains or fast-growing D2C brand stores is a major plus).

Technical Skills: Complete proficiency in handling automated refractometers, lensmeters, trial sets, and slit lamps.

Soft Skills: Fluent communication skills with a polished, customer-first approach. Ability to explain technical lens complexities in simple, clear language.
