PROJECT / DESIGN ENGINEER

1. Project Planning &

Execution Support·      Assist Project Manager in preparing project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

·      Ensure execution of site work as per approved drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

2. Site Supervision & Progress

Monitoring·      Monitor day-to-day activities at the site.

·      Ensure work progress is in line with project schedule and deadlines.

·      Highlight delays and suggest corrective actions.

3. Quality Assurance &

Compliance·      Ensure all work complies with quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.

·      Conduct regular inspections and ensure rectification of non-conformities.

·      Verify workmanship and material quality before approval.

4. Coordination &

Communication·      Coordinate between design, procurement, vendors, and site teams.

·      Communicate project requirements, changes, and updates to relevant stakeholders.

·      Ensure smooth workflow between departments.

5. Resource & Material

Management·      Track material usage and ensure timely availability of resources at site.

·      Minimize wastage of materials and optimize resource utilization.

·      Verify measurements for billing and material reconciliation.

6. Documentation & Reporting·      Maintain updated site reports, work progress records, and daily logs.

·      Assist in preparing measurement sheets and client billing documentation.

·      Ensure proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

7. Safety & Risk Management·      Ensure adherence to safety protocols at site.

·      Report and mitigate risks, hazards, or potential delays proactively.

·      Conduct toolbox talks and support HSE compliance.

8. Client & Consultant

Coordination·      Support Project Manager in handling client/consultant inspections.

·      Attend site meetings and implement instructions given.

·      Ensure timely resolution of site queries and clarifications.

9. Cost & Time Control·      Support in monitoring project budget utilization.

·      Track productivity and ensure efficient deployment of manpower and equipment.

·      Identify deviations and suggest corrective measures.

10. Continuous Learning &

Improvement·      Stay updated with latest construction techniques, materials, and tools.

·      Provide feedback for process improvements and efficiency enhancement.

·      Contribute innovative ideas for faster and cost-effective project execution.

1. Design Development & Drafting·      Prepare accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed design layouts.

·      Ensure designs meet client specifications, functional requirements, and project scope.

2. Technical Accuracy & Compliance·      Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and company SOPs.

·      Maintain high accuracy in BOQs, specifications, and construction drawings.

3. Project Coordination & Support·      Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure design intent is met.

·      Provide timely clarifications, revisions, and technical support during execution.

4. Client Requirement Implementation·      Interpret client briefs and translate them into technical designs.

·      Incorporate client feedback and revisions without compromising on quality.

5. Quality Assurance & Documentation·      Maintain error-free and up-to-date design documentation.

·      Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to minimize design rework.

6. Innovation & Continuous

Improvement·      Introduce value-engineering solutions for cost and efficiency improvements.

·      Keep updated with new design tools, software, and sustainable design practices.

7. Time & Resource Management·      Deliver designs within agreed timelines and resource constraints.

·      Prioritize multiple design tasks to meet project deadlines.

8. Vendor/Consultant Coordination·      Review and coordinate vendor/shop drawings with project requirements.

·      Ensure timely approval of drawings, material samples, and specifications.

9. Reporting & MIS·      Submit daily/weekly design progress updates to the Design Manager/Project Head.
