Project Quantity Surveyor

The Billing & Quantity Survey Engineer is responsible for project quantity estimation, measurement verification, preparation and certification of client and subcontractor bills, cost control, variation management, and maintaining project commercial records. The role ensures accurate billing, contract compliance, and effective monitoring of project costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Billing Management

* Prepare and submit client RA (Running Account) bills as per contract terms.

* Verify work quantities executed at site before billing.

* Prepare final bills and account reconciliation upon project completion.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams for bill certification.

* Track billing status, certifications, and payment collections.

* Maintain billing records, invoices, and supporting documents.

Quantity Surveying

* Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.

* Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for tendering and project execution.

* Verify quantities executed by subcontractors and vendors.

* Conduct quantity reconciliation and material consumption analysis.

* Monitor project quantities against approved BOQ and budgets.

* Prepare quantity variation statements and deviation reports.
