Purchase Executive

A Purchase Executive in a Bengaluru construction firm manages the end-to-end procurement of building materials, equipment, and services They ensure projects stay on schedule and under budget by sourcing quality materials, negotiating with local suppliers, and coordinating deliveries directly with construction sites across the city

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Material Sourcing: Procure essential construction materials such as cement, steel (TMT bars), bricks, aggregates (sand), electrical conduits, and plumbing fixtures

Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors across the Bengaluru region to secure the best prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules

Order Processing: Prepare indents, process quotations, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems or inventory software

Site Coordination: Liaise directly with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Engineers to track material requirements and prevent project delay

Cost Control & Quality Assurance: Perform rate analyses to optimize procurement budgets and ensure all delivered goods meet required structural and compliance standards

Billing & Documentation: Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and maintain accurate records to support the finance and accounting teams.
