Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services required for residential construction projects. The role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with site teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure construction materials such as cement, steel, bricks, sand, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.

Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).

Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure timely supply to project sites.

Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, Site Engineers, and Project Managers regarding material requirements.

Maintain vendor database and develop new supplier relationships.

Track purchase budgets and control procurement costs.

Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase documentation.

Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality standards.

Prepare procurement reports and maintain purchase records.

Resolve supplier-related issues and material shortages.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in construction procurement or purchasing.

Experience in residential construction projects preferred.
