Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for construction projects

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope

• Conduct quantity take-offs and material calculations

• Prepare project budgets and monitor cost control

• Verify contractor bills and subcontractor payments

• Handle tendering, vendor comparison, and rate analysis

• Track project expenses and prepare cost reports

• Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and contractors

• Evaluate variations, extra items, and change orders

• Ensure projects stay within approved budgets

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Good understanding of contracts and commercial terms

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic)

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying

• 5–6 years of experience in building construction / real estate projects

Preferred Experience:

• High-rise apartments / Villa Projects
