Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 + ₹4,000 Incentives

Pokus is a Bangalore-based startup where customers order beauty products through our app available on the Play Store and App Store. We source these products from local stores and deliver them on the same day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Pokus, the Runner is a critical frontline role that brings our premium on-demand retail service to life. As a Runner, you will be stationed at some of India's most sought-after retail destinations — from leading malls to top-tier brands such as Nykaa, Sephora, and other premium labels. You serve as the eyes, ears, and presence of Pokus on the ground, enabling clients to shop effortlessly without leaving their homes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to your designated retail location at the start of each shift (one location per day).

• Maintain a professional and attentive presence at the assigned store or brand outlet throughout the shift.

• Upon receiving a client request, promptly verify real-time product availability at the location.

• Communicate product availability details accurately to the Operations (Ops) Team.

• Once the client confirms the order, coordinate seamlessly with the Ops Team to initiate the delivery process to the client's address.

• Ensure all client interactions and updates are logged and communicated clearly and promptly.

• Uphold Pokus brand standards and represent the company with professionalism at all times.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE

1. Arrive at assigned retail location (mall / brand store)
2. Stand by and stay available for incoming client requests via the Pokus platform
3. Client raises a product request → you physically check availability in-store
4. Update the Ops Team with real-time stock status
5. Client confirms order → Ops Team processes and arranges delivery to client's address
6. Repeat for subsequent requests throughout the shift

REQUIREMENTS 

• Comfortable with field / on-ground work

• Good communication skills — Hindi and/or basic English

• Punctual, self-disciplined, and reliable

• Ability to stand/be on-site for an extended shift duration

• Smartphone with stable internet access (mandatory)

• Familiarity with popular retail brands is an advantage

• Prior experience in retail, delivery, or field operations is a plus — but not required

• Positive attitude and a customer-first mindset
