Sales Consultant

Key ResponsibilitiesCar Sales Consultants are responsible for selling vehicles to private, commercial, and government clients, ensuring a smooth and positive buying experience. Their main duties include:

• Customer Engagement: Establish rapport with potential buyers, actively listen to their needs, and create a welcoming environment that fosters trust and open communication. 2
• Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of dealership inventory, including vehicle specifications, features, benefits, and industry trends, to provide informed recommendations. 2
• Sales Process Management: Conduct vehicle demonstrations, arrange test drives, negotiate pricing and financing options, and process all necessary paperwork for vehicle purchases. 3
• Lead Generation and Follow-Up: Proactively seek new sales opportunities through referrals, social media, and networking, and maintain follow-up with leads and past customers to encourage repeat business. 2
• Collaboration: Work closely with finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from purchase to delivery. 2
• Marketing and Promotions: Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community engagement to attract new clients and enhance brand visibility.
