Job SummaryA Design Consultant is responsible for converting prospective clients into customers by understanding their interior design requirements, presenting design solutions, preparing proposals, and closing sales. The role combines sales expertise with design consultation to deliver a seamless customer experience.

• Key Responsibilities1. Lead ManagementHandle inbound and outbound sales inquiries.
• Qualify leads based on budget, timeline, and project requirements.
• Schedule meetings and design consultations.
• Maintain accurate lead records in CRM.
• 2. Client ConsultationUnderstand customer needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings.
• Provide design recommendations and space-planning ideas.
• Explain materials, finishes, and design concepts.
• 3. Sales & Business DevelopmentPrepare quotations, proposals, and project estimates.
• Present company offerings and value propositions.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Follow up regularly and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• 4. CoordinationCoordinate with designers and project teams for design proposals.
• Ensure smooth handover of projects after sales closure.
• Assist clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• 5. Customer Relationship ManagementBuild long-term client relationships.
• Generate referrals and repeat business.
• Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Required SkillsStrong communication and presentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of interior design concepts and materials.

• Ability to understand floor plans and design layouts.
• QualificationsBachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Interior Design Sales, Real Estate Sales, Modular Furniture Sales, or Home Improvement Sales.
• Must have their own Laptop.
