Job Description
We are looking for a polite, customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to handle saree sales at our showroom. The ideal candidate should have good product knowledge of sarees, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and understand their saree requirements
- Display and explain different types of sarees (silk, cotton, designer, bridal, festive, etc.)
- Assist customers in selection based on occasion, budget, and preference
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payment collection accurately
- Maintain proper folding, display, and cleanliness of saree counters
- Ensure stock availability and inform management about low stock
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat visits
- Coordinate with team members during peak hours and festivals
- Follow company sales policies and showroom etiquette
- Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 10th / 12th pass (Graduate preferred)
- 1–3 years experience in saree or garment retail sales (freshers with good skills can apply)
- Knowledge of saree varieties, fabrics, and regional styles
- Good communication skills in Hindi, kannada, telugu,(local language preferred; basic English is a plus)
- Polite, well-groomed, and customer-friendly personality
- Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced retail environment
