Job Description
- Senior Accounts Job Role & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and oversee the company's books of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Verify and approve accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledgers.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax compliance (as applicable).
- Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review employee reimbursements and payroll-related accounting entries.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Generate MIS reports and present financial data to management.
- Support branch accounts and resolve accounting-related issues.
- Guide and supervise junior accounts staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records and company information
