Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Accounting & BookkeepingHandle end-to-end accounting for multiple clients independently

• Maintain books of accounts in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
• Ensure proper recording of transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

2. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Generate MIS reports and variance analysis for clients
• Assist clients in financial planning and decision-making

3. Compliance & TaxationHandle GST compliance (returns, reconciliation, audits)

• Manage TDS compliance (returns, payments, reconciliation)
• Support Income Tax filings (ITR, tax audit coordination)
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance timelines

4. Accounts Receivable & PayableMonitor receivables and follow up for collections

• Manage vendor payments and payable cycles
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations

5. Audit & DocumentationCoordinate with statutory and internal auditors

• Prepare schedules and documentation required for audits
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation

6. Client CoordinationAct as a single point of contact for assigned clients

• Understand client requirements and provide timely support
• Build strong professional relationships

7. Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies and suggest improvements in accounting processes

• Assist in automation and system implementation where required
