Senior Accountant

Xpertax Auditing Bazaar Private Limited


About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling accounting, taxation, statutory compliances, registrations, client advisory, and financial reporting while ensuring complete compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about accounting, taxation, compliance, and delivering quality client service.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Accounting & Finance Independently manage end-to-end accounting for multiple clients.
  • Maintain books of accounts using accounting software.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
  • Prepare Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, and MIS Reports.
  • Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ledger scrutiny.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Finalize books of accounts and prepare financial reports.
  • Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
  • Handle GST registrations, amendments, cancellations, LUT filings, and GST advisory.
  • Prepare and file TDS/TCS returns and ensure timely statutory deductions.
  • Assist in Income Tax Return preparation for Individuals, Firms, LLPs, Companies, Trusts, and other entities.
  • Support tax assessments, notices, appeals, and departmental correspondence.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all statutory due dates.
  • Registrations & Regulatory Compliance Handle Company Incorporation, LLP Registration, Partnership Registration, Proprietorship Registration, Trust Registration, Society Registration, and NGO Registration.
  • Manage MSME, Startup India, PAN, TAN, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishment, Import Export Code (IEC), and other business registrations.
  • Process amendments, renewals, and closure of registrations as required.
  • ROC & Secretarial Support Coordinate ROC filings and annual compliances.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory records and documentation.
  • Assist in filing annual returns and other MCA-related forms.
  • Audit & Assurance Assist in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, GST Audit, and Financial Reviews.
  • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and clients during audit assignments.
  • Payroll & Business Support Process payroll and employee compliance-related activities.
  • Maintain employee salary records and statutory deductions.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare reports required by management and clients.
  • Client Management Handle client communication professionally.
  • Provide guidance on accounting, taxation, registrations, and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with government departments whenever required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client assignments.
  • Data Management Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
  • Ensure confidentiality of client information.
  • Securely manage, organize, and back up financial data.


Eligibility / Requirements

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • CA Inter (Articleship Completed / CA Inter Qualified preferred).
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Taxation, Audit, and Compliance.
  • Immediate Joiners Preferred.
  • Required Skills Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, Payroll, and statutory compliances.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
  • Preferred Candidate Experience in a CA Firm, Consulting Firm, or Accounting Outsourcing Company.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple clients and assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of business registrations, compliance, taxation, and audit procedures.
