Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate accounting records, and support strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors and handle internal/external audits
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory filings (India-specific)
- Improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency
