​Position Summary

​Sree Craft Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to join our project execution team. This role is critical in ensuring that our commercial interior projects and office fit-outs are executed with precision, adhering to high-quality standards and strict timelines. You will be the primary bridge between the design team and the on-site execution, managing labor, materials, and technical specifications.

​Key Responsibilities

​Project Execution: Supervise the daily progress of interior works, ensuring all activities align with the approved architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings.

​Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality standards for all finishes, including civil work, flooring, false ceilings, partitions, and custom furniture installation.

​Labor Management: Coordinate with sub-contractors and on-site labor teams to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to safety protocols.

​Material Coordination: Monitor material deliveries, perform quality checks upon arrival, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or project delays.

​Measurement & Billing: Take accurate site measurements and assist in the preparation of Running Account (RA) bills and client billing.

​Safety & Compliance: Ensure the site remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations to maintain a professional working environment.

​Daily Tasks

​Reading and interpreting 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings.

​Setting out the site as per the floor plans and marking reference lines.

​Directly supervising carpentry, electrical, painting, and polishing works.

​Preparing Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and sharing updates with the Project Manager.

​Identifying potential site hurdles early and suggesting technical solutions.

​Liaising with vendors for timely delivery of hardware, glass, and modular components.

​Conducting final snag lists (punch lists) and ensuring all rectifications are completed before handover.

​Required Skills & Qualifications

​Education: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Interior Design/Civil Engineering.

​Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in commercial interior projects or office fit-outs.

​Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, and basic MEP services.

​Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (basic viewing/measuring) and MS Office (Excel for reporting).

​Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English and local languages, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of professional integrity.

​Mobility: Must be willing to travel to various project sites across the city.
